Project Context

The product was built from the ground up by a two-person development team. I was responsible for the front-end and worked directly with the back-end developer.

My Contribution

Built and developed the product interface from scratch, covering UI design and front-end implementation as well as a significant part of product logic and end-to-end testing.

About the Project

Pas Fou is a carbon footprint assessment platform that helps users calculate and understand their environmental impact and identify actions they can take to reduce their emissions.

The core of the product is a complex dynamic questionnaire covering different areas of everyday life.

Unlike a traditional linear survey, the questionnaire adapts its structure to each user. Answers can dynamically create individual entities — such as vehicles or household members — which then become part of subsequent question flows.

Questions can be repeated, adapted or conditionally displayed for each specific entity.

Users can calculate not only their own footprint but also work with household members and provide answers on their behalf.

After completing the assessment, users can choose actions they are willing to take to reduce their emissions and track the resulting reduction impact.

My Contribution

Worked on product logic, requirements, development coordination and testing of a complex questionnaire-driven system.

A key part of the product was the dynamic entity logic.

Example: A user can specify that they own three vehicles. The system creates three separate vehicle entities. The user can name each vehicle. Later questions related to vehicles are generated and answered separately for each specific vehicle.

The same principle applies to household members and other dependent scenarios.

Created the website from the ground up with very limited initial input from the client.

Project Context

This was an existing WordPress/WooCommerce project rather than a website built from scratch.

My Contribution

Worked within the existing website and improved key parts of the product.

Redesigned and rebuilt a number of main pages. Improved and developed the online store. Implemented and configured a registration questionnaire used to collect additional user information during the onboarding process.

Every website has its own life — and it isn't always a long one.

Over the years, some projects have evolved, been redesigned or moved to new platforms. Others disappeared together with the businesses they were created for, while some survived only in original design files and archives.

Some of my earliest work belongs to a very different era of the web. What felt modern and well-designed at the time may look very different by today's standards. Those projects reflect both how the industry has changed and how my own approach, skills and understanding of digital products have evolved along with it.

Not every project needs to remain in a portfolio forever. This archive is therefore not a complete history, but a selection of websites and digital products that reflects the variety of projects, technologies and challenges I've worked with over the years.
